The Case Studies summarized in this publication are the main source among 18 other case studies for the analytical report "Justice in Indonesian Villages: Case Studies on Access to Justice, Democracy and Village Governance". The report itself was widely published in early February 2005 as the first part of the book "Creating Opportunities for Justice".

All strategies and findings have been systematized in analytical reports so as to direct various implications and recommendations in managing access and community-based legal empowerment initiatives, especially at the local level. However, as a report that covers all the case studies studied, what has been stated certainly does not fully describe the various ideas, initiatives, processes and dynamics of case management so that a case tends to be optimistic or pessimistic in order to continue to be pushed in a direction that is successful for society.

There are many things from each case study that are missed to be studied, even though perhaps these are the things that can concretely describe the thoughts and activities of individuals or groups of people which can then be emulated, chosen, and put into practice again in solving current social problems. this is or will be faced in the future by society.


Hopefully the material content of this application can be useful for self-introspection and better improvement in everyday life.
