The Purpose of Life is the ninth novel that has been published, but this is my first Islamic novel. It started with a discussion with one of my friends about the books I wrote, then he suddenly said, "Why don't you just write religious stories? You can also preach."

Honestly, I was shocked at that time, I kept thinking that I definitely wouldn't be able to write a religious story. I rarely read religious novels, more often I read my father's religious books which are about Sirah Nabawiyah, Sirah Sahabat, and books on fiqh. As far as I know, religious novels usually focus on matters of love, exploring matters of marriage and polygamy, in general that's what I know.

Then I thought again, why don't I make a story about what has been worrying many people, including me. About things that many people question but are too afraid to reveal because the question is considered taboo. Many people are experiencing a crisis of faith, especially in the midst of a lot of bad news about Islam. The main reason I raised this theme is because I myself have experienced what the main character in this story experienced, several years ago, until I was able to find the answer by studying. and keep learning.

The challenge of writing this is so tough, more than my previous writing. Not to mention the comments from several people who had different understandings and indeed from the start, from rude comments to inviting debate, I had prepared myself for all of it, there is no easy preaching. And what keeps me enthusiastic about writing from chapter to chapter is the good response from my friends on Wattpad.

I received a lot of messages about the experiences of friends who were also experiencing a crisis of faith, and what was touching was when several people told how they were moved to emigrate after reading this story. It's not because of me, it's all because of Allah, the One who turns hearts. This story may only be an intermediary.

I was also very touched when friends with different beliefs read this story, the response I got was also good. They said that through this story, they knew that Islam was not really like what was reported. Islam respects differences with its beautiful tolerance. Lakum was executed by Waliyadin.
