This Android application is an explanation of the First School of Islamic Philosophy Paripatetic Philosophy (Al-Hikmah Al-Massya'iyah) by Dr. H. Fathul Mufid, M.S.I. In Pdf format.

The purpose of writing this book is to facilitate the teaching and learning process and as a handbook for lecturers and students. With this book, it is hoped that students will have a comprehensive insight into Paripatetic Islamic philosophy so that they will be enthusiastic about developing and empowering Islamic philosophical theories to answer and solve the problems of the people.

This book will examine various aspects, starting from discussing the extent of interest in Islamic philosophy studies at the beginning of the progress of Islam, what the driving and inhibiting factors were, and what impact the wave of Hellenism had on the Muslim world of thought.

Apart from that, it also discusses the sources of Islamic philosophy, the views of orientalists and ulama towards Islamic philosophy and its correlation with the Koran and Sunnah, the central themes of Islamic philosophy, and then describes various topics discussed in Islamic philosophy by Muslim philosophers. .

The theoretical aim of compiling this book is to reveal the historical background to the birth of Islamic philosophy, the motivation of Muslims to develop philosophy and reveal the response of orientalists and ulama to the existence of Islamic philosophy as well as explain the various thought creations of classical Muslim philosophers on various topics. Practically, the aim of writing this book is to add to the treasures in the field of Islamic philosophy which it is felt still needs to be used as a lecture reference for lecturers and students in Islamic philosophy courses.


Hopefully the material content of this application can be useful for self-introspection and better improvement in everyday life.
