Prayer is the main worship in Islam. Prayer is so meaningful that it is impossible for the Islamic religion to stand without prayer. Prayer is also the first act of worship to be reckoned with and also the last thing to be removed from Islam. The order of prayer is the only act of worship given by Allah through a direct meeting between Allah and His Messenger.

Based on the importance of prayer in Islam, Shaykh Abdul Qadir Ar-Rahbawi, with all his abilities and efforts, was called upon to explain issues surrounding prayer. Indeed, there are many books that discuss prayer, but most of these books talk about prayer from a scholar's perspective.

The difference is, this book explains prayer from the perspective of four madzhab scholars comprehensively. It is hoped that all forms of differences and debates regarding prayer that often arise can become a nuance of harmonious differences. So that negative excesses that may arise from differences in views can be minimized through a comprehensive perception regarding prayer.

Based on this, we are called to present this book to readers. The publisher's motivation in translating this book is so that all groups can study and gain wisdom from the differences in scholars regarding prayer. In this way, the expression that we often hear that differences of opinion between scholars is a blessing can be realized.

Through this book, we also invite readers to pray for the author so that his work will become a true act of worship and receive a reward from Him. Likewise, we as publishers ask that Allah bestow His grace and mercy on all of us, and that we be made servants who are able to act wisely in responding to differences.

May all these efforts gain His approval and become good deeds whose rewards will continue to flow until the Day of Judgment. Amen.
