About this app

This Android application is an explanation of Javanese Leadership Philosophy by Dr. Suwardi Endraswara, M. Hum. In Pdf format.

I knitted this book, within the framework of offering a perspective, to discern pearls in the midst of leadership fog. Throughout the ages, Javanese leaders have been the most unique. Many leaders pretend (lamis), but their behavior is different from what they say. Many Javanese people pretend to lead gently, but are actually tough. Javanese violence is wrapped in soft words. Javanese leaders are sometimes strange, full of camouflage. This kind of situation often surrounds the world of Javanese leadership at all levels of the community. That's the fog that is tossed about by the wind, never subsiding.

Everything, apparently requires leadership, but is still shrouded in fog. Even in the world of ants, there are leaders. Termites also have leaders. Whether they are called kings or whatever they are called, there is always a leader. The animal world is much easier to lead, compared to humans. Animals do not have reason, so they are easily controlled based on instinct. On the other hand, humans are complete creatures so they are often not easy to control. Humans are easily covered in fog and even create thick black fog.

Leading is an attempt to control other people or parties. The universe of Javanese leaders, many of which are wrapped up in literary works, expressed through culture, and blown by political winds. Therefore, the insights of literary, cultural and political anthropology need to be intertwined to open the veil of this fog. We believe that only non-living creatures have no leaders. So, rocks and mountains have no problem if they are covered in fog. What's interesting is that even in the world of Satan (said the kyai), there is a leader. A person who is elected as a leader is usually considered to have certain advantages. Perhaps, Satan does not know fog, but is instead the creator of fog for humans.

I deliberately wrote this book to provide a broad picture of Javanese leadership, which is gradually becoming cloudy. I don't know where the fog comes from, it really requires clear eyes. The leadership of Java is a vast expanse of rice fields, over a very long period of time, which is still tempted by dark black fog. Much of this leadership has also merged, permeating various things. The influence of the Javanese notion of power has been very broad and long-standing. Since the era of the king, until now the sap of Javanese power has clearly been able to penetrate various things.

Please read this book, who knows, the fog that passes through our lives will soon be eroded. This fog is visible before our eyes, especially ahead of the Presidential Election, Regional Election, Regional Election, and all other options, clearly related to the leadership. Whether the fog must be overcome with the softness of Puntadewa's words, the hardness of Dasamuka's words, the sharpness of Arjuna's Pasopati, let's just wait. What is clear is that the people are really waiting for the fog to disappear, until a truly chosen leader emerges.
