As usual, this manuscript has been suffering from Sleeping Beauty syndrome for years. Long sleep. I didn't have an outline, I didn't have a map, so to be honest from the start I had no idea where Kalbu's story would end up. But isn't that the fun of writing? In the midst of being lost, in the end we are amazed by the storyline chosen by our characters themselves.

And writing this story, it felt like I was being advised by them.

Therefore, I will thank someone on the economy bus bound for Banjarnegara — Semarang, many years ago, for a light chat. From there, the seeds of this book grew.

The heart on the bus and the heart in this book are completely different. Likewise, the Ranu that Kalbu loves and the Ranu in this book are no longer the same. As I wrote above, in the end, Ranu and Kalbu chose their own storyline. Hehehe.
