A world without borders, a borderless world, a world of globalization, a world without walls—perhaps all of these have become cliché terms for us to hear. However, not many people really have a perspective on the realities of today's world, the world after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 which led to a new geopolitical landscape and international relations.

“Knowledge is power,” said Francis Bacon. Knowledge of international geopolitics is the key to the survival of states and nations, and the knowledge gained must be based on the principles of Realism (the ability to act realistically and pragmatically), Diplomacy (the ability to seek solutions through a peaceful approach), and Patriotism (the ability to overcome political differences for the sake of defend state interests).

These principles will be explained through 50 articles which are the author's notes throughout the past year about geopolitics and international relations.
