This Android application is an explanation of the Two Coasts of the Malaysian-Indonesian Short Story Anthology by Noraien Mansor Sunankaen. In Pdf format.

Two Coasts; This anthology of Malaysian-Indonesian short stories was published by a combination of five established, well-known writers of all time from Indonesia and five writers with the title of State Writers from Malaysia.

In this anthology, Malaysia presents five of its country's writers, namely Dato' Usman Awang, the 3rd State Writer, Dato' Dr. Anwar Ridhwan, lO State Writer, Dato' Dr. Ahmad Khamal Abdullah or Kemala, State Writer kc-ll, Dato' Baharuddin Zainal or Baha Zain, 12th State Writer and Dato' Dr. Zurinah Hassan, 13th National Writer.

In Malaysia, the title of State Writer is the highest achievement given by the government to individuals who contribute to the field of Malay literature in Malaysia through the Anugerah Sastera Negara. Since its introduction in 1981 as many as 14 individuals have been awarded the prestigious award.

Through the efforts to record 13 short stories from 10 great writers, this will certainly become an important historical record for the two countries in the same world in establishing literature once Bus stimulates the growth of Indonesian literature.

For this purpose, once again the Institute of Teijemahan & Buku Malaysia (ITBM) is heartened and proud to be involved in this important historical recording as a co-publisher. In fact, ITBM for the past decade has also been seriously involved, either directly or indirectly, in cultivating and promoting literature related to the Indonesian state. Both in terms of involvement in literary and cultural activities, books, as well as joint publishing.

This joint effort is not only to maintain the cooperation that existed before, but also a continuation of the "archipelagic" family relations whose greatness needs to be preserved before we were fenced off with borders by colonialism. Among the books that have been published together are the book A Segugus Conversation of Love in the Sun: Anto/ogi Two Malaysian-Indonesian Poet (2017), the book Sajak-sajak Ma/aysia-lndonesia: When Black is Said to be White, and other poems Bervok (2017), Anto/ogi's book Short Stories Indonesia-Ma/aysia-Singapura (2015), the book Kumpu/an poetry Women Indonesia-Ma/aysia (2014) and many others.
