About this app

This Android application is an explanation of the Sunnah's Explanation of 32 Popular Hadiths by Shaykh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi. In Pdf format.

In this book Al Garadhawi tries to explain the themes of Islamic studies such as the Battle of Badr, Fathu Mecca, advice, bid'ah, istigamah, ridha, halal-haram, etc.: including of course discussing the themes of Ramadhan, Shaum, Lailatul Gadar, as well Zakat Fithrah, because initially this book came from a lecture in the month of Ramadan. These themes are studied uniquely, sometimes expanding, sometimes narrowing: sometimes increasing, sometimes decreasing, sometimes expanding, sometimes in detail, flowing according to Al-Oaradawi's rhetorical style in his lectures.

The Sunnah of the Prophet - or often also called the Hadith of the Prophet - is the distinguishing element that differentiates between the straight path and the wrong path. He is also an explanation of Allah's verses in the Al Our'an: something that is vague in the Al Our'an becomes clear by referring to the Sunnah. It is also an integral part of Islamic Sharia, without Sunnah, Muslims will lose 70 96 of their Sharia. Even the Sunnah is sparkling grains of wisdom, like philosophical words full of meaning.

Muslims' need for Sunnah is no different than humans' need for water. Without water, humanity will perish: just as without Sunnah, we would not have Sharia. It is not surprising that thousands of ulama have devoted time, energy, thoughts and huge costs to maintaining the authenticity of the Prophet's Sunnah, just as thousands of orientalist (non-Muslim) scientists have also devoted efforts to defile the sanctity of the Prophet's Hadith.

The Sunnah is so valuable that Waki, a Salaf scholar, once said: "If you are good at hadith and teach it, then you will not be defeated by rationalists."

It is for such considerations that, by giving thanks to Allah and asking for His taufik, we present before the Budiman Reader, a unique book entitled, In the Arms of the Sunnah. This book was originally entitled, Fi Rihabis Sunnah: Syarah Ahadith Nabawiyah. It is the work of world famous scholar, Sheikh Dr. Yusuf Al Garadhawi - hafizhahullah fil khair.

Initially, this book was a collection of Shaykh Al Oaradawi's lectures at the Shaykh Khalifah Ibnu Hamd Alu Tsani Mosque, in Doha Oatar, during Ramadhan, 1961 AD. On the initiative of his students, fellow ulama, and sympathizers: the lectures collected, summarized, explained the position of the hadiths in it, so that it becomes a neat book.
