This Android application is an explanation of the entanglement of the Devil's Deception (Selected Syarah from the Book of Talbis Ibn Jauzi) by Dr. Zaharuddin Abdul Rahman. In Pdf format.

The book of the Devil's Talbis by Imam Ibnu Al-Jauzi is indeed interesting, from the point of view of its title as well as its shariah and tahqiq, but this original work takes too long to explain the entanglement of the Devil in philosophy and Sufism, more than half of the content of the book. When I used the book as material for syarah and talaqqi for laypeople at Surau Al-Mukmin, Mutiara Gombak, I took the approach of prioritizing syarah and tahqiq topics that were closer to the audience and listeners so that the benefits of syarah and tahqiq would be more easily appreciated and understood by the audience. . Likewise titles that are more current and easy to process in contemporary form.

Therefore, in the chapter on Talbis Devil on philosophy, kalam science, and Sufism, I then put the sharah and tahqiq into it. However, in the end I did not include all of these chapters in this book to ensure that it was concise and easy to carry to other countries. Apart from that, this book also does not describe the entire book of the Devil's Talbis, but as stated in the cover of this book, only selected sharah from the book is included. Once again, with the desire to choose titles that are contemporary and so easy for readers to understand.

The format of this book is a relaxed but factual book, it does not fall into the category of scientific or semi-scientific books. There are no footnotes provided because most of them are quoted from my syarah and tahqiq during the lecture. Likewise, each hadith will be given a reference.


Hopefully the material content of this application can be useful for self-introspection and better improvement in everyday life.
