The first step to achieving this spiritual chemistry is to know yourself, then to know Allah, the essence of the world, and, finally, the universe of the afterlife. It is a very high theme to climb, but it is conveyed in a simple and easy to understand speaking style.

Allah, said al-Ghazali, has created humans and equipped them with rational souls that are abundant with knowledge and wisdom. It is the human task to utilize it to achieve the inner purity that every holy human desires.
