In the city of Yathrib (referred to as Medina in the next chapter) Islamic preaching spread very quickly and widely. The population embraced Islam in droves, and what was talked about in the houses of Medina was nothing but about Islam and the Prophet Muhammad alone. It wasn't just commoners who embraced Islam, even nobles and tribal leaders were also not left behind. The dignitaries in Medina then offered to let the Prophet Muhammad emigrate to Medina.
