Our goal in compiling these writings is solely to make it easier for Muslims to learn matters related to the Tarawih and Witr prayers as a whole in the form of one free e-book, not in pieces, so that it is hoped that it can increase understanding and correct misunderstandings. what has happened so far regarding the tarawih and witir prayers.

This prayer is called tarawih which means rest because the person who performs the tarawih prayer rests after praying four cycles of prayer. Tarawih prayers include qiyamul lail or night prayers. However, this tarawih prayer is devoted to the month of Ramadan. So, this tarawih prayer is a night prayer performed in the month of Ramadan

As for the tarawih prayer, it is not prescribed to go to sleep first and the tarawih prayer is only specifically performed in the month of Ramadan. While the tahajjud prayer, according to the majority of fiqh experts, is a sunnah prayer which is performed after waking up and done at any night.

The scholars agree that the tarawih prayer is sunnah (recommended). Even according to Hanafiyah, Hanabilah, and Malikiyyah scholars, the law of tarawih prayer is sunnah mu'akkad (highly recommended). This prayer is recommended for both men and women. Tarawih prayer is one of the symbols of Islam.
