About this app

This Android application is the 2011 PTT Padi Gogo Technical Guide. In Pdf format.

Author: Bebet Nurbaeti And Agus Nurawan

Technical Guidelines for Integrated Plant and Resource Management (PTT) of Upland Rice 2011.

Dry land that has the potential for food crops, especially upland rice, is around 5.1 million ha, spread across various provinces. However, as a whole it cannot be used optimally, given the various limitations. As we all know, many fertile irrigated paddy fields are converted for non-agricultural purposes. So that with this reduction in paddy fields, there are 2 actions that must be taken immediately, namely through intensification and extensification. The extensification of paddy fields is not possible, except by printing new paddy fields.

New extensification measures can be carried out by utilizing and optimizing dry lands by planting upland rice. Dry land that has the potential to be developed is in open land, around riverbeds, around hills in watersheds and as intercropping with plantation crops and industrial plantation forests.

Opportunities for agricultural development, especially food crops (rice), both in terms of potential land resources, as well as increasing productivity through the application of technology packages that have been produced by the Agency for Agricultural Research and Development.

The national average production level of upland rice is still low, which has only reached 2.58 t/ha or about 45% of the average national lowland rice production which has reached an average of 5.68 t/ha. For this reason, because upland rice farmers are generally poor farmers, traditional farmers have many limitations. Upland rice farmers are generally not familiar with advanced agricultural technology. Given the limitations above, the intensification that needs to be done in dry land for upland rice is to apply Integrated Plant and Resource Management (PTT) technology for upland rice.

I hope that the PTT Padi Gogo technical guide will be useful for the development of agricultural development in the region and I express my appreciation and gratitude to the author.

Hopefully this application can be useful as material for study and become a loyal friend anytime and anywhere without having to be online.
