In fact, studying religion and studying Islamic laws related to worship, muamalah and others is an important requirement and is an obligation for a Muslim so that a Muslim is above knowledge in carrying out his religion. Thus, it is hoped that the practice that he does is in accordance with the instructions of the Prophet and is sincere solely for the sake of Allah, because both according to the instructions and sincerity are conditions for receiving worship from Allah.

There is no doubt that the source in establishing these syar'i laws is theorem. The syar'i laws are based on clear propositions from the Qur'an, as-Sunnah and Ijma' and are accompanied by explanations from leading scholars from generations of the salaf of this ummah without fanaticism towards a particular opinion or school of thought if it clearly clashes with theorem. In fact, the four madzhab scholars—may Allah have mercy on them all—always encourage their followers to stick to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet n, and emphasize that anyone's opinion if it is contrary to the proposition should not be relied on. Indeed, the expression of the four madhhab scholars is very famous, that they all agree in meaning to say:

"If the hadith is authentic, then that is my school of thought."

And as we all know that one of the noble acts of worship that we must know in depth is the fasting of Ramadan. How not, fasting is an obligation that is confirmed by Allah in His verse:

O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you so that you may be pious. (QS. al-Baqarah [2]: 183).

In writing this book, we are not tied at all to certain schools of thought or the opinions of certain scholars, but we try to be guided by strong arguments without bigotry towards anyone and without belittling other opinions. Alhamdulillah, this is the method that we apply in religious matters, namely 'turning around' with the strongest argument without bigotry towards any scholar and without condescension to other scholars who differ.

Al-Hafizh Ibnul Qayyim said: “Verily, we love the Muslim scholars and choose their opinions according to the Qur'an and as-Sunnah. We weigh their opinions with both scales. We don't consider anyone's words, whoever he is. We do not make other than Allah and His Messenger someone who is sometimes right and sometimes wrong for us to follow his every opinion and prohibit others from disagreeing with him. Such is the will of the Islamic priests to us, so let us follow their footsteps and instructions."
