Indeed... a scholar has given advice: "Be a servant of Allah in every situation and do not be a servant of Allah only in one situation."

Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam made a will to Abu Dzar Al Ghifari radhiyallahu 'anhu and Mu'adz Bin Jabal radhiyallahu 'anhu, He shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said:

اتَّقِ اللَّهْ نَةَ تَمْحُهَا وَخَالِقِ النَّاسَ بِخُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ

"Be fearful of Allah wherever and whenever you are, follow evil with good, then good will erase the bad, and associate with people with good morals." (HR. At-Tirmidhi and Ahmad, Sahih)

Mu'alla bin Al-Fadhl, one of the tabiu' tabiin scholars said:

"In the past, friends, for six months before Ramadan came, they prayed that Allah would bring them together with the month of Ramadan. Then, for six months after Ramadan, they pray that Allah will accept their deeds during the month of Ramadan."
