يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَ present

O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you so that you may become pious (Surah al-Baqarah/2: 183).

As we all know, among Allah's commandments is fasting in the month of Ramadan which, with Allah's permission, we are living. Of course we hope to Allah that we will be among those who live and make good use of this month, so that this year's Ramadan is not just the name of the month, but truly becomes "Ramadan" for all of us.

Ramadan in Arabic means scorching heat. Ramadan is so named because the month of Ramadan burns the sins of those who can make the best use of this month.

It is possible that the Prophet's intention with Ramadan burning sins is that Ramadan fasting burns so that the name Ramadan is in harmony with its meaning.

So the most important thing is not just meeting Ramadhan, but what is no less important is how Allah can bless us in that month of Ramadan, so that we become people who are burned by sins and all kinds of mistakes are erased in that month, by doing various things. a special kind of charity that is guided by Allah.

Let's meditate on God's word regarding the obligation to fast during Ramadan, a very well-known verse. Maybe we all memorized the verse well. That is the word of Allah in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 183, let's see...
