As the Month of Ramadan approaches, I offer this advice as a priceless gift. I beg my brothers and sisters to accept it with an open heart and at the same time I hope for the advice of my brothers and sisters for me. May Allah SWT protect us all.

How to Welcome the Arrival of the Month of Ramadan?

Allah SWT has distinguished the month of Ramadan from other months with various privileges and virtues. Among them:

- The smell of the mouth of a fasting person is more fragrant in the sight of Allah SWT than the smell of Kasturi oil.

- The angels ask forgiveness for those who fast until they break their fast.

- Every day in the month of Ramadan, Allah will decorate His Heaven and say, "The time has come for My righteous servants to let go of all burdens and distractions and go to you (Paradise) immediately!"

- The demons are shackled.

- The gates of Heaven are opened and the gates of hell are closed.

- In it is the night of Lailatul Qadar, a night that is better than a thousand months.

- Will be given forgiveness for those who fast on the last night of Ramadan.

- Allah SWT frees His servants from hell on every night of Ramadan.

O my glorious brother!

Thus a glimpse of the privileges of the month of Ramadan, then how do we welcome it? What about negligent games? By staying up all night? Or are we annoyed by his arrival and object? Na'udzubillah min dzalik.

A righteous servant should welcome him with repentance nashuha accompanied by a firm determination to achieve as much good as possible in this holy month. Filling his time with good deeds. And don't forget to always ask Allah c to help us carry out worship properly.
