This is a translation of the book Kasyifah as-Saja Fi Syarhi Safinah an-Naja which is one of the many syarah books compiled by Sheikh Allamah Muhammab bin Umar an-Nawawi al-Banteni. In essence, the syarah book explains about the Field of Ushuludin accompanied by several Fiqhiah issues which may be very waqi'iah so it is not surprising that the book is used as a reference book by the santri to know its laws.

Some of the santri asked us to translate the syarah book, even though we are actually not experts in translating. However, as it is said, "Every bad thing is not necessarily a completely negative impact," because there may still be a positive impact that it produces.

Because of this, we ventured to translate it in the hope that it could enter into the words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, "The best human being is the most beneficial to others."

In translating this classic book, we are guided by Kasyifatu as-Saja's own yellow book and Al-Munawwir's Dictionary by Sheikh Ahmad Warson Munawwir. We include the original text of the book with the aim of seeking blessings so that this translation book can also provide comprehensive benefits like the book of syarah and dictionaries.

If errors are found, both in terms of writing or understanding, then it is because of our stupidity and if the truth is found, then it is from Allah who was entrusted by Sheikh an-Nawawi al-Banteni.
