The presence of the month of Ramadan is always a longing for all Muslims. A month full of mercy, blessings and forgiveness (maghfirah). Each of us vying for priority.

Even though the month of Ramadan has been present several times in our lives, every time it is always necessary to refresh ourselves to interact with it. It feels like we are never tired of going back to reviewing the jurisprudence of Ramadan for us to apply to this blessed month.

For this reason, PW Ikatan Dal Indonesia (IKADI) for the Special Region of Yogyakarta feels the need to publish the book Fiqh Ramadhan at every presence of this glorious month. The book is a guide for da'i Ikadi in particular and the wider community in general in welcoming and filling the month of Ramadan.

This book of Fiqh Ramadhan tries to be written in a simple systematic manner and refers to the arguments agreed upon by the majority of scholars: with the aim of making it easy to study and practice. Although, of course, it has not been able to summarize all the issues related to Ramadan fasting in more detail on several sides. There are also several differences of opinion (ikhtilaf) which have not yet received a more in-depth discussion portion. Hopefully on another occasion, IKADI will be able to present a more comprehensive discussion.

Thanks to all da'i Ikadi who have been involved in the completion of this book. Also to all those who have contributed to the improvement of this book so that it can be published. Hopefully all of these efforts, with the sincere intention of lillaahi Ta 'ala, will get a great reward from Allah Rabbul 'aalamiin. Amen.
