Ramadan is a month whose beginning is mercy, its middle is forgiveness, and its end is freedom from the fires of Hell.

The holy month of Ramadan is upon us. Let us welcome the arrival of this noble guest with the warmest welcome. Among the leading scholars in the past, they always prayed for six months asking Allah so that they could meet the holy month of Ramadan, then in the following six months they always prayed that their worship that had been carried out in the month of Ramadan would be accepted by Allah.

If only everyone of us knew the privileges contained in the month of Ramadan, surely they would always hope that Ramadan would extend for a full year. Believers receive the good news that the gates of heaven will be opened and the gates of hell will be closed, and the satanic leaders will be shackled. This good news is not found in months other than Ramadan.

Whoever fills Ramadan with piety, he has received great grace, and whoever wastes it, he has not missed great goodness. Sayyidina Umar bin Abdul Aziz at the end of his sermon said:

“Surely you were not created in vain and you were not left alone, but there is a place for you to return to on the Day of Resurrection. Allah will take His servants to account. So it's really a loss for people who waste God's vast grace, it's really a loss for people who don't get a heaven whose width is as wide as the heavens and the earth. Don't you know that you will die and generations will come after you.

Every day we accompany those who have reached their death, so fear Allah before death comes to us. Truly I say this advice to you; in fact, my own sins that I do not know are far more numerous than the sins that I know, for which I continue to ask Allah for forgiveness and repent to Him.

Good news for the believers with the opening of the gates of heaven, the closing of the gates of hell, and the shackles of Satan and satanic leaders in this holy month. So let us prepare ourselves with sufficient provisions to welcome this month of blessings and forgiveness. Don't waste his arrival because we may not be able to get this valuable opportunity again in the coming years. We are human beings who are always in a loss, however, days will come to us that promise profitable trades.

Whoever does not get lucky in this month of Ramadan, when will he be lucky?! Rewards are achieved with effort, so make this Ramadan an effort to earn rewards.
