This book consists of 9 chapters which are divided into 5 chapters in the first semester and 4 chapters in the second semester. Each chapter begins with an introduction to the application of concepts in everyday life to provide an overview of the benefits of the concepts studied so as to increase curiosity and critical reasoning.

In the first semester, material discussion starts with static electricity, direct current electricity, magnetism, alternating electricity and electromagnetic waves. This material is concrete, easy to observe and finds many applications in the surrounding environment, ranging from simple technology to modern technology. In the second semester, the discussion of material is more abstract. The second semester material begins with an introduction to digital instrumentation, relativity theory, modern physics, atomic theory, and radioactivity.

Various activities are presented in this book to obtain, verify, and apply concepts. Activities can take the form of experiments in the laboratory, virtual experiments, discussions in problem solving, literature studies, and literacy activities.

Activities in the laboratory aim to improve process skills starting from designing experiments, conducting experiments, collecting data, processing and analyzing data to drawing conclusions. In this activity, students are also trained on how to use experimental tools directly so that psychomotor skills can be trained.

Virtual experimental activities aim to improve skills in using technology and make it easier to create abstractions from the data obtained, making it easier to understand concepts.

The activities in this book are also designed for working in groups to practice collaboration and mutual cooperation skills. Understanding test activities should be carried out independently so that apart from increasing understanding, it can also increase honesty, responsibility and independence.

The advantage of this book is that apart from presenting a variety of learning activities, it also provides alternative learning when tools and investigation materials are not available so that meaningful learning can still be carried out. Apart from that, this book also presents various project development ideas to increase creativity with material content that is appropriate to the latest scientific developments and their applications in various fields.
