About this app

This Android application is a Fine Arts Teacher's Guidebook for SMA / SMK Class XI Independent Curriculum. In Pdf format.

Humans are gifted with the ability to think and feel beauty, so creativity continues to develop throughout the history of civilization. Creativity in processing shapes, colors and symbols has been carried out throughout the history of civilization. Cave paintings made in prehistoric times thousands of years ago in several places in the world (including Indonesia) which we can still see today are one proof of this.

On a small scale, we can witness the development of creativity in children. Education experts say that children are "artists". (Hurlock, 1985:328). Drawing, role playing, and other creative activities are done with joy without being overshadowed by "fear of making mistakes". This situation changes along with the development of rational attitudes, visual experiences of the surrounding environment, and society's views on creativity. In fine arts learning, we often encounter students who view themselves as talented or not talented in art. Apart from the debate about the role of talent in artistic creativity, this view has become a boundary that separates someone from learning to create art.

Someone who views himself as not talented usually chooses not to continue studying art. On the other hand, those who consider themselves talented are encouraged to explore their creativity in the field of art. In this context, fellow teachers should provide an understanding that fine arts learning can be done by all students without relying on views about talent, so that students are free from negative self-judgment which can become an initial obstacle to the development of their creative abilities. Therefore, a pleasant learning atmosphere and motivating students is one of the factors that can encourage students to take part in fine arts learning with joy.

According to psychology, students in class 11 (phase F) are in a period of determination (Period of Decision), where self-confidence has grown. Students have the ability to analyze and evaluate ideas, messages, and technical skills in creating fine arts. It is hoped that learning fine arts in this phase can stimulate this potential so that students realize their abilities. It is hoped that this awareness can foster self-confidence to develop creativity in the field of fine arts.

This teacher's guidebook was designed based on the Grade 11 Fine Arts Learning Outcomes (Phase F) from the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. In its design, we tried to bridge the needs of fellow teachers throughout Indonesia with a variety of conditions. We hope that this book can be an inspiration for fellow teachers in stimulating students' creativity through fine arts, building self-confidence, loving the beauty and harmony of life.

Hopefully this application can be useful and become a loyal friend in the teaching and learning process at all times.
