The Islamic creed, if it is taken into account, is the creed of the Sunnis and the community, and it is the pure and correct creed, the creed of the three preferred centuries of the Companions and the Successors and those who followed them in goodness. Ibn Katheer said: God Almighty informed that He was satisfied with the first predecessors of the Muhajireen and Ansar and those who followed them in goodness. According to the Sunnis, the doctrine is tawqifiyya and is not proven except with evidence.
