I would prefer to see aroma, bittering and dual combined into a single list, but with filter capability to separate if required. Colour coding to identify aroma, bittering or dual when swiping through the list. Side-by-side comparison with aroma profile overlay would be good. A more advanced substitution calculation would be great showing which characteristics would change with a given substitution.

Thanks Andy for your feedback, all valid points, the lists were separated out to shorten the length of them, but I can look into applying your suggestions, side by side has been suggested by a few people now so I will be looking on adding this in very soon, and love your suggestion on values that would be effected by the substitution ♥️

Seems like a massive missed opportunity for a searchable database on hops. Greatly missing the ability to click on flavour types and find similar hops sharing that characteristic. Can't even search for hop flavours, only names. Needs more fleshing out to be a functional app, otherwise it's just no better than a webpage. Edit: it's a good idea, just needs fleshing out like you say. For instance, when you use the filters and search for "pine" it also includes hops with "pineapple"

Hey, thanks for the feedback, I am a solo developer that put this together a year ago when I was furloughed so I have not had much time to do much more with it. You can goto the search screen and slide up filters and filter based on flavours, also the app is fully offline so much better then a webpage 😉 I hope to spend some more time on it soon🍻

Great app. Informative. I would like a more self explanatory color code, but if you have basic knowledge on hops will not affect, even for a rokie . But besides that. I avoides you looking into many pages. The 2 tone green backgroung is cool for movement but does not have an informative effect.

Thanks Bernal for your feedback! In terms of colour code do you mean the green background or the hop image? I would love to discuss more, could you please send me an email or you can send me a message via my HopStar FB page, cheers 🍻
