Ruoti Graphic Novel

The Ruoti Graphic Novel audio guide app accompanies the user along a tourist route that winds through the streets of the historic center of Ruoti (PZ), transformed into an open-air exhibition. The walls of the houses become the pages of a Graphic Novel, in which the places and stories of the great talents born and lived in this village come to life.
The route is divided into 10 points of interest where the user finds himself admiring great works of art and digital sculpture posted on the walls of the houses; their vision is accompanied by the voice of Rota, a water nymph born from the abyss of Fontana Bona, the Sanctuary built in Ruoti for the cult of the Goddess Bona, mother of fertility, who will tell the stories of Ruoti's children and their talents .
The application, therefore, allows the user to enjoy the narration and to have a "virtual guide" of the itinerary and the works available. In the app there is also a map of the historic center with the exact indication of the location of each installation so as to make clear the path to follow and facilitate the user to reach the points of interest, outlining an itinerary of enhancement and connection between the sites themselves.
The user's position, through GPS activation, is identified on the map through a marker, which allows him to easily understand where he is with respect to the individual stations. Through the map, by clicking on the single station, the user can take advantage of the textual content and sound stories related to the work placed in his vicinity.
The application therefore has an orientation section with a map of the historic center of Ruoti and an indication of the path and position of the illustrations, from which it is possible to access, from time to time, a section strictly dedicated to the story of the works.
The purpose of the narration is to create visual evocations, conveyed through the application, with authorial texts enriched by specially designed sound atmospheres. The aforementioned contents can be used by the user, through the application, only if physically present in the historic center of Ruoti (PZ).
The audio guide app can then be heard as you stroll through the alleys and landscapes of this dreamlike contemporary art gallery with the tales of the nymph Rota who embodies the feelings and virtues of the women and men of Ruoti whom she proudly calls her children.
