About this app

He is Imam Abu Bakr Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ubaid bin Sufyan bin Qais Al-Qurashi. He is nicknamed Ibn Abi Al-Dunya, and he is a client of the Umayyads. He was born in the city of Baghdad specifically in the early third century AH in the year 208. This century had a great influence on intellectual development, as movements rose. Of the creativity in the various literatures and translations that Ibn Abi Al-Dunya absorbed from and influenced his idea in a positive and fundamental way, he died in the year 281 AH.
Imam Ibn al-Jawzi said on the authority of Ibn Abi al-Dunya: He was of chivalry, trustworthy and truthful, just as Al-Sam’ani said of him: He was trustworthy and truthful, and he often categorized himself in asceticism and gentleness. Ibn Katheer said of him: He was trustworthy, truthful, a memorizer, and of chivalry.
Ibn Abi Al-Dunya varied in his writings, which include many topics, as the number of his works reached more than 180 books and treatises. In this application, most of the works of Imam Ibn Abi Al-Dunya were collected, which amounted to 58 books and authors, and most of the books in the application were indexed in the chapter The section is so easy to read.
