About this app

Figurinhas do Cruzeiro is a sticker app for one of the biggest clubs in Brazil, the gigantic Cruzeiro. This application is free and unofficial.

Cruzeiro Esporte Clube is a Brazilian multi-sport association, based in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. It is considered one of the biggest football clubs in Brazil and South America. Founded in 1921 with the name of Società Sportiva Palestra Italia, it was renamed to its current name in 1942 - in reference to the Southern Cross - by imposition of the federal government at the time, it prohibited the use in the country of any symbols of Germany, Italy and Japan, enemy nations of Brazil in the context of the Second World War. It is one of the most popular clubs in Brazil, having today the sixth largest crowd in the country and the biggest crowd in the state of Minas Gerais. His biggest rival is Atlético Mineiro, with whom he plays one of the greatest classics in Brazilian football. To a lesser extent, there is also the rivalry with América Mineiro.

Recognized as one of the biggest clubs in Brazilian and international football, Cruzeiro was twice runner-up in the Intercontinental Cup of clubs and has in its continental curriculum two titles in the Copa Libertadores da América, two in the Supercopa da Libertadores, one in the Recopa Sul- Americana, one from the Nicolás Leoz Gold Cup and one from the Supercopa Masters Cup. At the national level, the celestial team has four victories in the Brazilian Championship (one of them as the Brazil Cup) and six in the Copa do Brasil (current record holder), being the only double champion followed by the competition. At the regional level, he was two-time champion of the Copa Sul-Minas and champion of the Copa Centro-Oeste, and at the state level he has 54 victories. It was also the first and only team from Minas Gerais and the only Brazilian team to win the national triple crown, having won a state championship, a Copa do Brasil and a Campeonato Brasileiro in the 2003 season. In 2009, the IFFHS prepared the ranking of clubs in the South America, with statistical data from 1901 to 2000, in which Cruzeiro stood out as the best Brazilian club of the 20th century and, in 2015, Placar Magazine prepared the ranking of the greatest absolute champions in Brazil, in which Cruzeiro and Internacional are in first place, as the clubs with the highest number of official titles in Brazilian football. Regarding the sum of official titles of national and international scope of Brazilian football clubs (not counting official titles of state and regional scope), in September 2019 Cruzeiro was in second place, tied with Santos and Palmeiras. and surpassed only by São Paulo, being then the only non-Paulista association to appear with more titles of this scope than one of the four big clubs in São Paulo, in this case Corinthians.
