About this app
ASIAIR is an intelligent wireless controller that includes the device and app. You can control all ASI USB 3.0 and Mini-series cameras, selected DSLRs/MILCs, and popular equatorial mounts. Also, you can handle more gears, such as EFW and EAF from ZWO. Just connect your phone or pad to ASIAIR WiFi and explore the universe.
ASIAIR has SkyAtlas built-in. It can handle almost all DSO and Planetary imaging tasks. Such as preview, plate solve, auto-focus, polar-align, guiding, plan (multi-target, mosaic), video recording, live stacking, post-stacking, etc. You can even share and chat with global Astro-pals.

WiFi on the ASIAIR Pro is basically worthless. Station mode only seems to work when it decides it wants to. I can NOT get my Celestron SLT mount to connect with the Pro. When using my phone, the app crashes every single time I try and open any saved images. I just uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still crashes every time. I've about had it with this device.

Wow, the app and the ZWO hardware that it connects to is a total godsend! The ease of use, accuracy, features, and firmware are regularly updated which has reduced the overall time spent on initial setup and narrowband imaging. For the best wireless environment, I have my whole setup connected via an external FriendlyWRT router and use Android emulation on PC.

The only issue I've had since the new update is that on my Lenovo M8 tablets (both), the 3 button navigation bar quit closing and hides the bottom of the screen that shows camera temp, stack #, etc. Each time I touch the screen, the nav bar appears and everytime I have to reduce the screen and then enlarge it to get the nav bar to disappear. Not a show stopper, but gets aggrevating after constantly repeating! App & tablet are up to date. ZWO, please advise.
