Music therapy is the use of sounds to improve health or functional outcomes. Music therapy is a creative arts therapy, consisting of a process in which a music therapist uses melodies and all of its facets—physical, emotional, mental, social, aesthetic, and spiritual—to help clients improve their physical and mental health.

Our brainwaves change according to what we’re doing and feeling. When slower brainwaves are dominant we can feel tired, slow, sluggish, or dreamy. The higher frequencies are dominant when we feel wired, or hyper-alert.

The descriptions that follow are only broad descriptions - in practice things are far more complex, and brainwaves reflect different aspects when they occur in different locations in the brain.

Brainwave speed is measured in Hertz (cycles per second) and they are divided into bands delineating slow, moderate, and fast waves.

Randomly stops playing and turns my media volume all the way down. Also the repeat/shuffle button doesn't tell you if you are repeating one tone or everything. Which can be really irritating when the wind chimes wake me up in the middle of the night. I'm moving on to something that is actually functioning properly.

App is very glitchy. Halfway through the night it wakes me up. The sounds get all distorted and inconsistent. Have to force stop it and open it again for it to be back to normal for a couple hours, then it does it again. Sometimes it's all good all night and sometimes it messes up several times. Under normal circumstances it's very relaxing and helps me sleep.

Just subscribed for a month to get full access and see more features but there aren't any new feature other than timer. I didn't need to subscribe as it didn't make any sense. No additional sounds and yes side menu sucks because it will take you to download another app which is also not available at the time i searched. In short waste of money...
