Vivaldi snapshot is a great application to use. It's dark mode for web pages and ad/tracker blocker is exceptional. The only thing that did not work was the "Send to Tab" feature. But this is probably a bug and should be fixed soon. Other than that, it's great. Four stars!

Finally, a Chromium-based browser with working, encrypted sync that doesn't use Google. There are a couple of problems, however: LastPass sees Vivaldi as an app, not as a browser, so it doesn't take the URL into account and therefore offers no accounts to log into. And there's no easy way to allow third-party cookies on a per site basis. That said, the return of proper sync alone after years in the Brave wilderness makes the switch worthwhile, but it's only on the desktop that Brave comes into its own, with web panels, tab stacking and tiling, built in window capture, sending of tabs to remote devices, and a very detailed level of configurability.

Vivaldi has been my #1 pick for browser for a couple years on desktop now. This app has been a solid experience too. It is by far the best browser UI experience I've had on Android. And the non-Google sync between desktop and mobile makes it an easy choice for me. The only thing stopping it from being my only mobile browser is no addon support. That's still limited to just a couple browsers so it's understandable, but addon support would make Vivaldi the only browser I ever touch.
