Criminal Code - Digital Legislation (Turkish Penal Code, Legislation System, Law Number: 5237, Date of Adoption: 26/09/2004) - It is the basic legislation that defines crimes and their penalties in Turkey. Turkish Penal Code, briefly TCK, was accepted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly on 29 September 2004, and was published by the Turkish Republic on 12 October 2004. It is the law published in the Official Gazette and entered into force on June 1, 2005. Its purpose; "to protect personal rights and freedoms, public order and security, the rule of law, public health and the environment, social peace, and to prevent crime."
