Civil Code - Digital Legislation (Turkish Civil Code, Legislation System, Law Number: 4721, Date of Adoption: 22/11/2001) - It is the main law containing the rules regarding the field of civil law in the Republic of Turkey. Apart from the initial provisions; It consists of five books: personal law, family law, inheritance law, property law and law of obligations. Turkish Civil Code is the law numbered 4721, which was accepted by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on 22 November 2001 and entered into force on 1 January 2002. Turkish Law No. 743 dated February 17, 1926 abolished the Civil Code.
