I am on level 47 now, which has taken probably around a year? to get to. I honestly really enjoy the game. Its a classic merge style game with a vute story line. The reason for 4 stars is because to advance through the storyline, you really have to work for it. It takes a long time to earn leaves and such. But they do give you coins to help you through it. Also some of the items you merge and never use (dont bother merging the mushrooms to the final level lol), but cute and fun overall

Out of all the merge games I've downloaded and played in the past few years, this is the one I keep coming back to again and again. The aesthetic is lovely, the music is calming, and I just have fun with it. I reviewed longleaf in 2022 with a few complaints, and all of them have been fixed and more polish added to the game overall. It feels a bit more 'genuine' by not copy-pasteing the energy systems and other mechanics that other merge games tend to do, especially with planting trees irl.

I like the "play for a cause" idea. But I don't like the game otherwise. It's the usual match game throughout the Google Play store. I'm not giving a star for the Bug Hunt because it really was a waste of energy and coins. The other star isn't given because the player has to use the ads a lot and that's time consuming. I helped plant some trees. Now, I'm done.
