Straight Talk is a decent option if you're in need of service quickly without a lot of cash. They have a decent selection of phones for under $100. However, you will get what you pay for. My network service has gone out at a dozen times for no reason, the app is terrible, customer care reps are generally lackluster, & even when they admit their service failed you, they don't offer anything to compensate you for any inconveniences. In sum, they're ok until something goes wrong, which is a lot.

Constant app crashes and errors. Had to reinstall a few times. Honestly, I should ask for a years worth of free service for the last time this happened; my service suddenly turned off and I was thinking that I could just pay my bill. Well, apparently not, since I can't even login on the app with the number I just used last night. Edit: While I recognize that most people have support issues, my problem comes in at that the whole system seems to be buggier than an ant farm, which needs fixing.

first several years I used straight talk I would've given the service 100%, 10/10. now ever since they switched to the 5G Network I'm having dropped calls my internet turns off all the time it says I have no service my service signal sucks messages aren't coming in or going out and at least once a month I'm having to contact them to troubleshoot issues with my phone not working. I'm almost to the point of switching services to be honest but hope they figure things out and get it together.
