Dropped to a 4*. After a couple of years of using, the one upgrade to the app would be add a notes option or selection of "who picked what for the week". It's not as easy to remember and using the write down on paper method is antiquated. Still awesome product and meals!

For me the "convenience" is not worth the high prices that are charged. Very limited menu for beef, however more options for pork, chicken and fish dishes. Not to mention that the wedges that come with any beef dish you do find are at best sub par verging on disgusting. Unfortunately now I have a commitment to fill with overpriced, mostly not that great food. I will say that the meat is at least high quality even if the sides are sub par.

Tablestakes (ha!): notifying when a meal is ready. This app, alas, doesn't do that. Or rather it does, but typically 10-12 minutes late. Interestingly, the iOS version doesn't have this problem for me. And frustratingly, it seems that the Tovala crew has know about this issue for at least a year (based on their responses here), but... yeah :(. 2 stars instead of 1 because the app still has *some* (moderately) useful functionality.
