About this app

PERU’S BEST is the ideal travel guide to this extraordinary country. Written by a Peru-resident travel writer it explores key DESTINATIONS; suggests ITINERARIES; details dozens of SIGHTS and ACTIVITIES; and suggests great spots to EAT. All content (200+ points-of-interest/330+ pics) is original and independent; no recommendations are ads!

★This app comes FREE with occasional pop-up ads: a SINGLE, one-off PURCHASE removes all ads; allows you to access all content (including maps) when offline; and includes free updates in the future. Published by TouchScreenTravels.com: Travel guides for the digital age.★

PERU’S BEST starts with essential TRIP-PLANNING information and an overview of key REGIONS and DESTINATIONS to provide perfect orientation.

A hand-crafted ITINERARIES section then offers over half-a-dozen different multi-day itineraries to help with trip planning, as well as detailing how first-timers might best spend their time discovering key places: Lima, Cusco or Maccu Picchu in a day.

The next section of the app, INTERESTS & ACTIVITIES, is designed to give you the heads-up on various interests, so if you’re keen exploring the country’s ARCHEOLOGY or planning a HIKE or a TREK, then you might just dive straight into the app here.

Other categories here include AYAHUASCA & WACHUMA, BEACHES & SURFING, HISTORY and WILDLIFE & BIRDING.

Finally, the app details a handpicked selection of RESTAURANTS & CAFES, many located near key sights. There’s also a little on SHOPS & SHOPPING with special emphasis on the many exceptional MARKETS.

Not an app, and not nearly helpful enough, to warrant the bs ads that litter it.

It clearly is an app! And the ads disappear if you make the one off purchase. So for about the price of a cup of coffee you get ad free content that our author and editor took around two months to put together. Would love to know what content and functionality you want: you can let us know at info@touchscreentravels.com.
