About this app

Tinkerbots Blockly is a visual programming editor specifically designed for programming Tinkerbots robots. With the intuitive drag-and-drop function, basic programming concepts such as loops, variables, conditions, etc. can be taught. With the help of the various programming blocks, children from the age of 10+ can make their first experiences with programming. With the possibility to display the code also in the programming language Python, Tinkerbots Blockly is also suitable for the use in high school classes.

The Tinkerbots Education Sets are modular robotic kits that can be used in STEAM lessons in the entire secondary school. The ‘easy to assemble’ hardware allows quick and uncomplicated use in the classroom. Together with the Tinkerbots Blockly programming app and the compact accompanying material for teachers, practice-oriented learning is encouraged.

The learning units transfer abstract topics of STEAM lessons into everyday life and increase the learning success of the pupils through their practical relevance. Creative problem solving is promoted and at the same time the handling of modern technologies is trained. Tinkerbots not only teaches the basics of STEAM subjects but also complex topics of the higher grades and can therefore accompany a student from the 5th to the 12th grade. This allows students to learn the digital skills of the 21st century in the best possible way.
