Considering the dashcam is high spec, it's a shame that this app is so, so bad. Wifi connection is poor, the app has a lot of ads and the camera doesn't connect automatically. Surely, in the last 4 years, something could have changed / updated by now.

The pruveeo 2k dual dash cam is a good device. This app that goes with it is trash. Why? Because it has ads. The wifi "hotspot" feature sucks every time you power the dashcam down and you have to manually re-establish a connection (every single time), and it only works while your phone is in wifi mode. So you can't have your phone connected to your cellular network or it disconnects. I even tried this app on a backup phone with no service and the ads still ran.

The camera is good, front and back picture. the instructions need work. its easy to connect, but the instructions make it more complicated then it is. It asks for a password even though my camera is connected. I wish the WIFI connection had a longer range. would be nice to check on my car from my house. And what with the adds that pop up each time i connect to my camera. That's got to go. that's why i give it a 3 stars.
