Manulife Vitality is all about helping members live healthy, earn rewards, and save money. And with the Manulife Vitality app, you can keep track of all the little steps you take towards a healthier you and enjoy all program’s benefits and rewards! From your smartphone you can:

Check in your goals and Vitality Points™

Monitor your progress towards your weekly goal to unlock rewards

Log a workout using GPS*

Submit proof of a completed activity (e.g 5K, dental check-up, etc…)

Enjoy the daily newsfeed with hot tips to help you live a healthier life

Link to Apple’s Health app to sync data via iPhone or Apple Watch

*Some features, like gym visits, may require GPS location services. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

The app is available for anyone to download, but you must have a Manulife insurance policy with Manulife Vitality and register on the website before you can log in. Once you’ve registered, you’ll use your Manulife Vitality website log in to sign into this app.

I've have to restart my phone to force my daily activity to update from my Samsung health app which is connected to my watch. However today, no matter how many times I've restarted it will not update and shows zero steps/activity for the entire day. I've reported this issue four times directly through the app, with no follow up. Itys both frustrating and disappointing.

Hi Hannah, I'm sorry to hear this. I'll look into why you did not hear back. In case it's helpful, please note that the Samsung Health app can display activity from a fitness device that is not compatible with Vitality. You can find the list of compatible fitness devices under the top left-hand menu of the Vitality app. -JM

Every so often the app decides not to update my rewards points. Then I am forced to uninstall and reinstall the app. When I reinstall and login, I am told that the app has experienced a technical error and I have to contact customer support. They can never help me through social media, so I am forced to call them and sort it out, otherwise I just go around in circles. This has just happened again, so once more I am unable to access the app - I'm getting really sick of this!

Hi Sarah, I'm sorry to hear you're experience this! Please note, points can take up to 24 hours to sync. Call or email us at 1-888-626-8543 or manulifevitality@manulife.ca if your points are still not loading. The customer service team can also help you log in. I hope this helps! -JM

The app is useless. It doesn't sync properly with google fit. Update:. I would reintegrate this app / and integrity of the program is a joke. It consistently misses workouts even though the app is properly linked to both Samsung Health and Google Fit. Don't bother using. It's just an exercise in frustration which ironically has the opposite effect of the program (a healthy lifestyle).

Hi Steve, we identified an issue with Google Fit and released a fix on Friday, 2/24. Please try de-linking and re-linking Google Fit to your Manulife Vitality app. If you encounter any issues, please let us know by updating your review or contacting us at 1-888-626-8543 (8am-8pm M-F) or manulifevitality@manulife.ca -JM
