Pan Tadeusz, or the last inn in Lithuania - an epic poem by Adam Mickiewicz published in two volumes in 1834 in Paris by Aleksander Jełowicki.
This national epic (with elements of a noble's tale) was written in the years 1832–1834 in Paris. It consists of twelve books written in verse, the thirteen syllable Polish Alexandrine. Time of the action: five days in 1811 and one day in 1812.
