Welcome to the “Talk Left” app for Android! Offering our users instant access to the best Live streaming Liberal and Progressive Talk Radio Shows and Podcasts 24/7.
When your favorite talk show is Live it will appear on our app. We list and link to the most popular Liberal and Progressive talk radio shows and up and coming progressive resistance shows, along with offering news programs, podcasts and stations exclusively from the left perspective. These programs are ranked in real time by our users. Simply click on the icon of any show displayed and listen.
If you do Not see your favorite show listed now.. hold on.. don't panic! Simply check to see when the show is scheduled to air. You will find the show listed when it is Live. TSL lists talk shows that are Live or streamed the same day.
No need to search -- the talk shows only appear on the list when they are Live or in replay. The app is dynamic, always changing serving up talk shows 24/7.

Key Features:
Scan Button - The scan button will move down the list sampling each show. Just like your FM radio in your car. Press the scan button again to stop the scan.
Change Station - If or when your favorite talk show is pre-empted for sports or other events, simply "Tap" the Cycle button and this will offer another station streaming the same show.
The Grid View - Shows are displayed with icons and are ranked by popularity..
The List View - Displays shows listed by popularity ranking in real time with bar representing listener share.
Favorites - Tap the star and your favorite talk show will be pinned to the top of the list - easier for you to find.
Sleep Timer - Audio will shut off if user select 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes.
Next Button - User Changes to the next show displayed up or down the list.
Volume Slider - Can’t hear the show? Adjust by moving the volume slider to the right.
Listen Line and Podcast by Phone numbers - Use your minutes instead of data to listen.

I like the app and I've used it for a long time but I just lowered my review from five stars to two stars. Either update the app so that the notification status message closes when the app is closed, or I'm going to uninstall it and encourage others to do the same. There's no excuse for this behavior. As it stands you have to tap the status message, REOPENING the app, then re-close it in a specific sequence of steps, repeatedly until you get the order correct. Not worth the frustration.

Highly recommend this app easy to use with most if not all the important stations with clear reception if your on the road a lot like myself this app will keep you informed with up to date information and if you happen to miss a episode or just want to hear it again you can by going to podcasts great app

Nice app... but, It works great, except it starts up on its own even after I close it out completely. I'll be away for a few hours or wake up in the morning and the app started itself and will be playing all on its own. I can't have that happening. I'm going to keep it installed for now until I either figure out how to prevent it from happening or I'll have to uninstall it. There aren't any settings in the app to control it to prevent it from automatically starting up on its own.
