About this app

Adjust sound volume of your Android device from any other device that has a web browser, Android or not.
Therefore this also includes non-Android devices (such as PC, Mac, iPhone and so on).
Both devices must be connected to the same local network (Wifi).

1. Install this app on the Android device you want to control sound volume remotely, and start the application. It will give you an address.

2. Then connect to that address from another device, Android or not, using its web browser, and start controlling sound volume remotely, easily. You may even add the address as a favourite so you can access it even quicker.

This app will remain free, without ads, and opensource. Source code is available on GitHub, click the "Visit Website" link in Developer section.

Works perfectly. This is the only app I found with this functionality. I use my phone to manage what I'm listening to so I can easily get up and leave the house without interrupting my sound. On my desktop Spotify can control the music selection but not the volume. This little app completes the system.

Unfortunately it doesn't run properly on my Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. I have it set up to run without restrictions (always) in its battery settings, but when I try to connect to it from other devices (from my phone or PC) it shows as web address unavailable. Just opening the app on my tablet doesn't help - I have to first kill the app and then start it manually again, and then it will run OK, but only for some time.

Works well, is exactly as described. Not everyone will be able to set their router to maintain the phone with the same IP, though. An expansion to include a permanent universal web based (rather than local) IP address and the ability to set a maximim, or minimum volume would seem a logical upgrade, and one I would pay for.

What's new

Private IP addresses limitation improved (all valid ranges) and a minor bug corrected.
