Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) treatment is a type of psychotherapy — or talk therapy — that utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach. It began with efforts to treat borderline personality disorder (also known as Emotional Instability Disorder). DBT has been conceptualized as a treatment broadly applicable to individuals with difficulties regulating emotions. Empirical evidence now supports the use of DBT adapted for eating disorders, substance use disorders, and PTSD.

Definitely the best, most feature packed and user friendly app for DBT available. Everything in the diary card is customisable, which is important, because everyone has different target behaviours. Very helpful to refer to when learning DBT to brush up on the skills. Fantastic exercises and meditations. It's still a bit "buggy" though. I'm not able add my photo to my profile, I can't upload any photos to the journal either (even with permissions allowed).

Very detailed, informative and useful. Somewhat overwhelming but I'm enjoying the comprehensiveness. Struggling to navigate a little because there is so much in it. The reflections and mood assessments are a little hard to do while you are still learning the techniques... a light reflection or mood checkin would be easier in the beginning stages of using this app. A bit confused by the homework and assignment section. Would like to make use of this eventually. Might be too early yet.

Everything except the introduction is locked behind a paywall that's almost $20 A MONTH! Considering the amount of spelling and grammar mistakes I found just in the intro, I wouldn't want to pay for any 'premium' content. Seems to be put together very lazily, some of the answers for the intro questions have been added in wrong (ie. question about how distressed you are accidentally has same answer set as 'how often' questions. It's just lazy.) Definitely do not recommend.
