About this app

Verification of the validity of fiscal control codes

The Chilean Internal Revenue Service offers you the e-Verifica app, which will allow you to verify in a safe, easy and free way the validity of products marked with tax codes or stamps, helping you avoid the purchase of counterfeit products or smuggling.

This is thanks to the implementation of the Fiscal Traceability System that allows certain quantities and types of products produced in the country or imported to be controlled in a certain way, as a measure of control and fiscal protection. To do this, a type of marking is used that uniquely identifies each product.

It will also allow you to verify the validity of the following Electronic Tax Documents: Electronic Invoice, Electronic Exempt Invoice, Electronic Invoice Settlement, Electronic Purchase Invoice, Electronic Dispatch Guide, Electronic Debit Note, Electronic Credit Note, Electronic Export Invoice, Note Electronic Export Debit and Electronic Export Credit Note.

Using the app you can:

1. Verify the validity of the products by scanning a Datamatrix code for direct marking (national products) or scanning a stamp (imported products). Another way to check imported products is by manually entering the alphanumeric code inserted on the stamp.

2. Check the validity of the Electronic Tax Document, verifying if the consulted folio is received in the SII and if the information is consistent, that is, if the RUT data of the issuer and receiver correspond, the date of issuance of the document and the total amount. For this, you must scan its electronic doorbell using the camera of your mobile device, or you can make a manual query by entering specific data from the document.

3. Report situations in which the verification of the product or electronic document is not valid or the detail of the information is incorrect.

4. Review the history of your inquiries and reports.
