Palomax

The history of Palomax began in 1989, when we founded our first store in Jardim Buscardi, in Matão. That was the beginning of the victorious trajectory of a supermarket chain that, since its inception, has proposed to offer quality products at affordable prices, with an emphasis on self-service – a concept that is, to this day, represented by our slogan: “Palomax – It's max cheap and period”.

Over the years, we have invested in expanding our company, always working with the best systems in the retail area. We currently have four stores in Matão and one in Araraquara, totaling 5,300 square meters of built area. Monthly, we receive around 280 thousand customers, who come to our supermarkets in search of the best food, cleaning, personal care, bazaar, stationery and houseware products. And we are proud to contribute to the economic and social development of Matão, where we have a staff of more than 650 employees.

Why Palomax?

The name Palomax did not come about by chance. It was the result of research dedicated to naming the network in order to describe its identity in the best possible way. Expressive in terms of sound and meaning, Palomax comes from “paloma”, Spanish for “dove”, a bird that is the symbol of our company. Combined with “max”, the word gives the idea of ​​peace, optimism, joy, strength, maximization, dynamism and speed – concepts that guide our relationship with our customers, our employees and the community.
