The VRA Group began in 1983, in the city of Costa Rica, Mato Grosso do Sul.
At first, Mercearia Veratti was a small wooden room, with vegetables displayed on stalls and drinks served in doses, and part of the rent was paid with goods. Over the years, after much dedication to retail, the business grew, changed and became Veratti Supermercados.

With the perception that consumption habits were changing and the strong trend of cash and carry in the Brazilian scenario, in 2013, the VRA Group inaugurated the first Atacadista Mega store in Costa Rica, a pioneer in the hybrid segment of wholesale and retail in Mato Grosso. Big South.

In 2017, the second store of the group opens in Chapadão do Sul, with an investment of around R$8.5 million in 2 thousand square meters, generating jobs for the community and innovation for the region.

In November 2019, the Group's third store opens in Corumbá. A large, air-conditioned store, with an investment of 20 million reais. Today considered one of the largest shopping centers in the Pantanal region and Bolivia.

In December 2021, it is the turn of Vale do Ivinhema, which gains a new Atacadista Mega store. With an investment of 32 million, in a constructed area of ​​8.5 thousand m², of which 3.5 thousand m² are for sale.

With a complete butcher shop, cafeteria and more than 8,400 items.
With hard work, solid logistics and direct negotiations with major industries, Atacadista Mega continues its expansion in the interior of Mato Grosso do Sul, supplying not only the cities where it operates but also the neighboring regions, reaching Goiás, Mato Grosso and Bolivia. Generating jobs and supporting the development of the regions where it operates.
