Martins Entrega - Supermercado

Martins Supermarket started in the 70s, still as a family-run warehouse. The property was rented, was only 40 square meters and was located at the corner of Rua Melo Guimarães and Rua Esmeraldas, in the neighborhood Nossa Senhora de Fátima, in Pará de Minas.

After some time, it acquired its own headquarters on the then Rua Melo Guimarães, but it was still a small supermarket. In 2009, Martins Supermarket underwent its first renovation and now has its own Bakery, Butcher, Friamberia and Hortifruti.

In 2012, "Armazém Martins" as it is still affectionately called by some customers, underwent the second major renovation and expansion. Currently, in addition to Bakery, Butcher and Hortifruti, Martins Supermarket has its own cafeteria, covered parking with acoustic tiles and a branch of Farmácia Cruzeiro inside the store. There are 1,250 square meters of built area, with 950 meters for the sales area and 11 check-outs. In 2019, parking was doubled, now comprising 12 spaces for motorcycles and 47 spaces for cars.

After 41 years of existence and following the development of one of the fastest growing regions in the municipality, Martins Supermarket today becomes a model for Pará de Minas, with modern, well-structured facilities and a huge range of services.

Martins Supermarket is affiliated with COOSUPER - Consumer Cooperative of Supermarketers in the Midwest, which comprises 14 companies in a total of 38 stores throughout the Midwest region of Minas Gerais and its center is located in the city of Formiga. It aims to centralize negotiations and improve logistics flow, in addition to efficiency in distribution.
