In 1961 Emílio Mosquera founded Madrid Supermercados, some time after having immigrated from Spain to Brazil. Madrid Supermercados, since its origins, has been an innovative and family-owned company that seeks to meet the expectations of its customers, providing them with practicality, quality, agility and access to differentiated and exclusive products. Today the chain has three stores, which are located in greater São Paulo, the Higienópolis store at Rua Martim Francisco, 777, the Paraíso store at Rua Tumiaru, 35, and the Vila Buarque store, at Rua General Jardim, 410.
