On January 14, 2018, SEG Automotive announced that it has completed the purchase of all Bosch factories and commercial offices for starter motors and alternators, confirming its global presence with production and commercial operations in 16 countries.

• From now on, SEG Automotive will operate autonomously with German Technology and under a new controlling group, ZMJ.
• With the transaction, SEG Automotive acquired more than 100 years of tradition and technology in the development of alternators and starters. And it incorporated the entire technical collection, product code, list of patents and intellectual properties of all the products of the former company.
• SEG Automotive distinguishes itself globally through its continued investment in alternators and starter motors for automakers (OEM original equipment).
• All professionals from engineers, management, operators, sales, etc., who worked in the former company, migrated to SEG Automotive to continue a prosperous, profitable and sustainable future in the long term.

Effective immediately after this public announcement, SEG Automotive takes over the management of the Bosch Group's well-established starter and alternator division.

Under its new name, SEG (S for starter, E for electrification, G for generator) builds on more than a century of tradition in the development and production of starter motors and generators, as well as a future-oriented focus on electric mobility.

The company will continue its success story using German technology and focusing on the development of mobility solutions for vehicle manufacturers (light, heavy and off-road) under the management of a new controlling group, the ZMJ and to Zhengzhou Coal Mining Machinery Group.
